How much will it cost?

A Michigan  State ID card will cost $10 unless it is waived.  The local SOS office will waive the fee if:

• You are age 65 or older
• Unable to drive because of a mental or physical disability, including being legally blind. 
• You receive Family Independence Program or State Disability Insurance benefits from DHS. 
• You have other good cause.  The SOS Will decide other good cause on a case by case basis.
